Welcome to the Polar Star-Rose Hill #79 website!
The mission of this website is to help keep Brethren in close communication with the lodge, provide information on Masonry, and to document Polar Star-Rose Hill #79 Lodge history. First Meeting: Second Meeting: Bring Your Family To Dinner! Make sure to click on the EVENTS tab at the top of the page to learn more about our upcoming events! The Polar Star Rose Hill open house is scheduled for our next meeting on June 22. There will not be any lodge meeting that night. We will have Super Smokers BBQ for dinner and also play host for several men that are considering joining our fraternity. Please be sure to bring your ladies and your families as it is another opportunity for us to gather around the table and share with each other as well. Our lodge elections at the last meeting ended with the following results: WM elect - Derrick Standley
WM Peter G. Panagiotopoulos was given a standing ovation for the work that he has performed during his time in office. Prayer Requests We have several brother's families that need our prayers. If you were not at our last meeting, RWB Harry Weber reported that Robert Peller has been diagnosed with leukemia. Let's all keep Brother Peller and his family in our thoughts, as well as all our brothers and families that are suffering from various trials and tribulations. And also remember our brothers that are serving the country in ports near and far. (06/14/10) If you know of Brother that needs our prayers, please call or email us to let us know. This is our own charity and would be good if we can raise money to help our other efforts. We did manage to have about 40 kids at the Holiday party on Saturday and they seemed to really enjoy themselves. If you were not there, Boo the clown entertained the kids, we had hot dogs, pizza, tacitos, veggies, and cookies, and then Santa Claus made an appearance delivering the presents to all the kids. After the Holiday party a lot of us made our way out to the Hardee's Ice Complex in Chesterfield. We were very fortunate to have 41 volunteers and we processed 71 child identification kits. A number of the volunteers stayed after the event to see a very good hockey game. Thanks to all the volunteers that showed up to make this a great event!
